Burnout syndrome is detrimental occurrence which has the potential to affect all professionals in whatever line of work in which they are engaged. I firmly agree with the author that those in leadership positions are tasked with preventing the effects of this occurrence. I also agree with the author regarding what is at stake in doing so. Leaders must succeed in this endeavor to maintain successful organizations and sustain the employees which are required for them.
