Change Management Implementation Plan in the Workplace

This Change Management Plan documents and tacks the necessary information required to effectively manage project change from project inception to delivery for the Neuropsychological department in Australia. The Change Management Plan will be created throughout the Planning Phase of the project for developing a change initiative & implementation plan for Neuropsychological department. Its envisioned audience is the project manager, project team, project sponsor and any senior leaders whose support is required in order to perform the plan.

Describe different theories, constructs and models of leadership

One theory that will involve this process is the Trait Theory -- this theory assumes that the leader is dissimilar from the average person in terms of personality traits for example intelligence, perseverance, and determination. When it comes to the model of leadership, a transactional type of leader will be best for this type of transition. This type of leadership works through creating clear structures. Punishments are not continuously talked about, but they are also well-understood and formal systems of discipline are typically in place.

Demonstrate a practical understanding and application of these theories and models to your own role as a leader.

As a leader, in the Neuropsychological department, applying the Trait Theory would involve leadership skills of drive and motivation.

This will be applied in the decision making ability in regards to making the change. As a transactional leader in the Neuropsychological department I will be able to focus on team-building. As a leader and part of the change process, it would make sense for me to focus on promising staff members to do their very best work by way of example and the sheer influence of the nurse leader's optimistic personality. I would have the crew motivated and then collaborate with employees at different levels of an organization to achieve changes for the better.

Policy and Strategy: Implementing leadership vision.

The Neuropsychological department will implement new policies and strategies. These new company polices and strategies will require contribution from all of the entire neuropsychological department. The leader of the department will create an implementation team that consists of representatives from the department. Management will produce a structure that identifies numerous group leaders. The duties of these group leaders and an accountability system will make sure that the employment team meets its schedule for getting the new policy in place.
