He wrote several books, including Sketches, Alroy, Lord George Bentinck, a Political Biography, and Henrietta Temple, a Love Story. Though he lived two centuries ago, his thoughts are timeless. In reading some of his thoughts, another related idea of his emerged: " it is knowledge that influences and equalizes the social condition of man; that gives to all, however different their political position, passions which are in common, and enjoyments which are universal.
