Windows and MAC OS X are two of the renowned operating systems that are used all over the world. Therefore, it is exceedingly important to have a comparison of these operating systems in order to know their advantages and disadvantages.

Windows is the first operating system in this regard. Windows is the pride of the Microsoft Corporation so far and no other product can compare with it definitely. The usage rate of Windows is 80-90% of all the computers which are generally called desktop computers. There is a bigger percentage of computer users who are not very computer savvy and therefore, prefer to use Windows as an operating system. Microsoft Windows is the most user-friendly operating system that has been developed so far. This is the reason why more or less everyone who owns a computer runs it on Microsoft Windows. Windows support a large number of hardware as well and that makes it the best operating system in the minds of the users.
