Culture of the Organization

The organization benefits on the punctuality of the employees. New employees are aware of this culture through extensive orientation to make them concerned on the regulations, rules, and the need to reach the offices on time. The development of the policies is the duty of the board of directors in collaboration with the departmental heads. These policies guide daily execution of expectations and roles by the medical practitioners. The policies are available to employees and officials through the charts in every office. The policies are in line with the mission of the organization thus promoting the philosophy of the institution. The policies are communicated through the charts thus an effective approach. The organization has the ability to change or transform the policies that are ineffective towards the achievement of the goals and objectives though the board of directors.

Leadership Style

The organization adopts and implements hierarchical leadership style with the Chief Executive Officer on top to ensure effective running of the institution on a daily basis. The prevailing leadership style is the authority and decision-making to the top organs. The organizational chart (appendix 1) illustrates on the level of authority in relation to the position within the chart. It is ideal for the organization to focus on the mission and culture in order to meet its objectives and goals with reference to enhancing the welfare of the society.

Role of the Nurse Executive/Manager

The manager is also vital in the adoption and implementation of an effective information system and technology to foster quality communication within and outside the organization premises. Nurse Manager participates in ensuring daily care coordination and collaboration in order to meet the goals and objectives thus enhancing the welfare of the community. The Nurse Manager also plays a critical role in ensuring that all care levels come together in the achievement of the mission. This is through effective and efficient integration of different care levels.
