The preceptor will mentor me to ensure that I demonstrate exemplary performance in my diverse engagements at the clinical site. This will be instrumental in my efforts to achieve the objectives of my practicum. My preceptor will also monitor and guide me – in which case he will encourage me to explore my skills in translating evidence to clinical practice, understanding of healthcare systems, and leadership development.
