Personal Interests

Life should never be limited to just a few activities, and I have two interests/activities that I take great enjoyment in. One is in the development of various technologies and information regarding these technologies, including the development (with a few friends) of an mp3 system for people to use to share audiobooks -- the fact that I can put my knowledge and skills to practical ends that enable people to share information is very exciting to me. I also enjoy playing the piano, which is very different from working with computers as there is total freedom in what "works" and what can be explored.

While everyone has some sort of activity they engage in just for fun, there are several such activities that I engage in with this enthusiasm. One of these, which is fairly closely related to my education, is the development of various technologies and gathering knowledge about these technologies; as one example, I have become an avid and regular reader of the Renewable Energy World magazine that provides up-to-date information on science related to renewable fuels and other energy sources.
