As I have already pointed out elsewhere in this text, while growing up, I had the opportunity of interacting with various health professionals, amongst them nurses. From these interactions, I became aware that the profession does have its challenges. I am hence under no illusion whatsoever that nursing calls for sacrifice. I am ready to sacrifice so as to enhance the well-being of those who need my care the most i.e. patients. My working at the Home Depot Store also played a critical role in the enhancement of my personality in terms of my ability to relate well with others. It is also during this time that I further sharpened my problem solving skills. Thus given an opportunity, I will be able to relate well with patients and their families while also handling problems appropriately. I am also convinced that my personality resonates well with nursing. My caring attitude, excellent interpersonal skills as well as ability to work under pressure make me an ideal candidate for a position in your institution. I plan to further enhance my nursing skills by enrolling for a Master of Science in Nursing.
