My Interest in College of Arts and Sciences
I wish to pursue Pharmaceutical Sciences at Howard University. However, I have realized that I have an interest in Arts and Sciences and I will have to take some courses in this area. By pursuing the humanities discipline, I will be developing myself as a better citizen because I will learn various aspects and values treasured by the people I will be serving as a pharmacist. In the humanities division, I will be introduced to different things such as literature that touches on both ancient and modern languages, philosophy, cultural studies, performing arts, linguistics, and history. The mention of performing arts takes me back to my early childhood stages where my parents used to take us out where we would enjoy different performances. With such cultural interactions, I have appreciated the need for taking some art courses while studying may major in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
With the dynamic quality of life, arts and sciences are known to take students into an imagined world that invokes creativity among students. This will enable me to understand how other people in society live. With my focus on Pharmaceutical Sciences, humor will come a long way in helping me go through the…
