The move went smoothly and a month later Andrea was happily chasing her fellow red group peers across the playground on recess the same way she did the blue group previously. This could have been handled badly by pointing out to Andrea her reading troubles as compared to her two closest friends. She may have withdrawn and wanted to stop trying which would have possibly caused a lifelong fear and dislike of one of the most important academic skills there is.

All of the above situations were handled well. Had they been handled in any other way it could have created an atmosphere of stagnation not growth.
