Goals Delivered

We are glad to inform you that in line with the agreed contract, we have made efforts towards making sure vulnerable children living within the county are fully protected. We have had talks with legal experts towards ensuring that the concerned children are able to access basic services and also that their rights as humans are protected. We are also employing legal methods and several others in searching for and reuniting these destitute children with their families. We have almost completed the searches for the families of the children available to us. This is quite important as the county can be free from the associated problems of hosting these kids. Reuniting these destitute children with their families will make sure that they get proper care, their educational pursuit is backed and their health is preserved. We are glad to announce that proper follow up was done for those children which we gave up for adoption. Several of them currently enjoy adequate levels of care. We have made sure that their new parents have proper knowledge of the essential needs of the children, are prepared to do anything to protect them and will give them the best level of care possible (Wildman, & Emanuel, 2014).

The Hennepin County has collaborated with related organizations and stakeholders in ensuring that defenseless kids are properly taken care of and that people who attempt to put their lives at risk or danger are made to face the law. There are cases where offenders who attempted to maltreat kids were dragged to court and hopes are high for their conviction. We have also been making efforts to identify and examine anyone who regularly maltreats helpless children. Even though the number of our staff who possesses skills in intelligence and investigation is quite thin, we have organized training for all others to make sure they carry out their roles in this regard effectively. Furthermore, we have equally been collaborating with the law enforcement, religious leader, court, correctional facilities and social department to make sure our efforts are a resounding success.
