Here, James did not review the performance of the other nurses until it was too late. Here, it was difficult of James to course correct the staff behavior as he observed the deficiencies when they were too late. As a result of the improper oversight patients were not served adequately, and corrective action could not occur in a timely fashion (Ratna, 2019).2. What delegation principles were broken?Here, the oversight principles of delegation were broken. James was correct in delegating the tasks, but did not confirm their completion in a timely manner. Also it appears the instructions were either not provided clearly or the instructions received were not understood properly.
