CONCLUSION

In conclusion, communication is a vitally important part of any care setting. Patients and their families must feel that they are the recipients of patient-centered care, and that they receive sufficient information to help them through difficult times. It is suggested that the PDSA model will be an effective way to accomplish this, along with process mapping. A logical sequence of steps must first address the underlying reasons behind the lack of effective communication among staff and patients.
