Reflection on Class Performance

1. Social Responsibility and the belief that all students can learn

I have demonstrated social responsibility through taking time to learn and understand the various ways in which all students learn. Through this process, I have realized that every individual has the capability to learn and grow in various ways. Even though people are talented or gifted differently, every individual can learn and grow. People learn differently because God has created everyone unique. Therefore, for a teacher to ensure the successful learning of all students, he/she needs to utilize different teaching techniques and styles that accommodate the diverse learning needs and styles of all students. I have also learned how to incorporate my Christian values in the classroom setting and learning process and instilling them in my class.

2. Commitment or work ethic

During this course, I have shown commitment and work ethic through completing all assignments to the best of my abilities. I ensured that I completed all my assignments with integrity and honesty and avoided actions that could be considered as academic cheating. Additionally, I spent my time outside the classroom reflecting on insights I obtained from the classroom and learning materials. I kept a journal in which I wrote my reflections and insights I obtained from teachers and the learning materials. I also demonstrated commitment and work ethic through seeking for clarifications on issues I did not understand in order to enhance my performance and learning throughout the course.

3. Reflection

I have shown reflection through taking time to review insights I obtained from the classroom and other learning materials in order to enhance my understanding of the course. I would constantly review each learning material, life experience, and educational experience while documenting information in my journal. I spent most of my leisure time doing reflections and scrutinizing the learning materials. This process enabled me to understand lessons better and identify areas I needed improvement or clarifications. Additionally, I participated in discussions with my small group, which helped in reviewing learning content. The review helped in shaping my understanding of class work and contributed towards my learning and growth.

4. Integrity

I have shown integrity in this course by completing all individual assignments by myself rather than engaging in cheating. When completing these assignments, I never cheated or stole other people’s work and presented them as my own. In cases where I conducted research on studies or publications by others, I gave credit to them through proper citation.
