Despite the fact that technology improves healthcare outcomes, there is need for its effectiveness to be evaluated before it is implemented. The said need has been restated by my colleague. One of the approaches towards the determination of the effectiveness of telemedicine, as highlighted by my colleague, happens to be the use of systematic reviews. In this case, systematic reviews are used to evaluate telehealth interventions whereby their effects on healthcare outcomes and professional practice is determined using scientifically sound studies. According to Totten et al. (2016), the said studies come in handy in the examination of how telehealth is used to facilitate communication between patients and providers, monitor patients’ symptoms and signs, provide treatment, etc.OgechiIn the second post, Ogechi opted to focus on sources of evidence for postpartum depressions. According to Wan Mohammed Radzi et al. (2021), postpartum depression happens to be a major problem in public health and affects a large number of people especially women. Wan Mohammed Radzi et al. (2021) point out that surveys could be carried out using questionnaires to determine the signs and symptoms of postpartum depression.
