The commercial's creative strategy is to demonstrate the growth in China and the challenges of delivering to this country through the actions of one man crossing the street. There is one clever spot where the man tries to go under the piece of bamboo, but gets whacked on the head, adding humor and still underlining that even trying to work around these challenges it can still be difficult.
The commercial is both entertaining and effective in getting the message across; however, one area of improvement would be a greater focus on the Fed Ex brand, with a greater length of time spent on showing the Fed Ex delivery person successfully delivering the box, in order to increase brand awareness......
