" If Hunt is not trying to support same-sex marriage she should have left this issue out of her argument and focused solely on today's marriage model. She attacks the role of the clergy, resenting the lack of separation of church and state in marriages, but acknowledges civil ceremonies as an option. It is difficult to see what purpose alienating the religious community serves. Lastly, pathos arouses emotions to persuade an audience.
This is the weakest area of Hunt's article which is completely devoid of emotion.

In summary, Hunt needs to establish credibility before making an attack and she needs to stop confusing her issues and attacking those for which there is no real gain. More importantly, she needs to show readers why she really cares and why they should too......
