Even though some have suggested that the legalization is inevitable, I suggest that you and I together still have a chance to make a difference and to prevent this horrible turn of events from destroying our future and the future of our beloved children.

Three main points:

Same-Sex Marriage is Not Condoned by the Bible.

There is absolutely no place in the Christian Bible that same-sex marriage is condoned. As a Christian nation, we must abide closely by the words of the bible when determining our laws and moral values. Not only does the Bible not condone same-sex marriage, it specifically condemns the relationships on which such marriages would be based. Homosexuality is an abomination. This is not a simple phrase thrown around by protestors. The Bible specifically tells us that homosexuality is an abomination in Leviticus: "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination." (Leviticus 18:22). If calling homosexual behavior an abomination is not clear enough, Leviticus goes further and clarifies for us the consequences of such behavior. "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them." I ask you, what could be more clear? "Their blood shall be upon them." The Bible is clear.

The American currency clearly states "In God We Trust" and is the official motto of our nation. Furthermore, many of our practices and habits are based on a Christian faith. In a court of justice individuals are asked to swear on the bible and to repeat the phrase 'so help me God.' How can we profess to be a Christian nature while pursing the legalization of same-sex marriage? It is a complete contradiction, and worse, it is an abomination, as stated in the Bible.
