Satirical Pornography

Pornography…what a wonderful concept. The idea of being as free in body as one is in spirit can be relieving, freeing, and bring exuberant amount of pleasure…just do not let anyone find out. The obsession with pornography is just as bothersome as the religious morals that make the pornographic institution wrong. Religion makes pornography seem equivalent to committing a crime. And the act of secrecy is actually more important and acceptable than watching and looking at the naked people.

Getting caught with pornography as a teenager can bring upon consequences worse than telling your parents that you just got caught cheating on a test. Psychological evaluation is suggested, possibility of turning into a serial killer is discussed; it can just become an all around bad situation. The secrecy behind something so natural makes it seem so bad and disturbing. Curiosity is what brings teenagers into even thinking about pornography (and not to mention raging hormones…), but this natural process is turned into something religiously and morally wrong. The fact that in some countries it is still a crime to look at naked pictures, even as harsh as being punishable by death, is pretty eye-opening considering the times that we are currently living in. This notion of pornography acceptability has actually evolved from even decades ago…can you imagine what the consequences would have been then?

The institution of pornography is deemed as being the gateway to hell, worse than getting addicted to drugs. And the unorthodox situation of getting caught having anything to do with this, makes the creators of the pornographic world seem like leaders of a murderous cult. Instead of punishing anyone, why not try to accept something that is not going to be going away. Thinking about sex is just as natural as thinking about water and food, literally it is. The human brain processes needs in a particular order…food…water…sex… It is an evolutionary part of human beings, why try to suppress something that is innately engrained in a human's brain.
So next time that someone is asked, why do you watch or look at pornography, just say it is the way my brain is wired, I cannot help it

The everyday media exposes people to pornography on a daily basis anyway. It is hard to imagine a world without the idea of nude people acting for the pleasure of others because it is literally all around. How can you tell someone that pornography is wrong when it is so hard to even stay away from it. Just because something on regular network television has reality shows where women get naked and wrestle in mud for the love of someone is not rated X, does not mean that it is not a branch of pornography. Something that is considered to be indecent does not have to come from an adult store or played on an adult pay per view channel. Why not judge those shows as harshly as two women making out with each other on a badly lit set with horrendous dialogue (unless they get straight down to the act and do not even talk). Even watching movies now is almost equivalent to watching low budget pornographic movies, they show skin and sex…they get straight down to the nitty gritty of everything. The fact that the idea of pornography be kept secret is….....
