Does IDEO's way of designing and researching work with either Frayling's model or Schn's understanding of design knowledge? Why or why not?

The IDEO principle of design is based on "intimacy with content." (p. 2). Intimacy with content is achieved via a unique research methodology for artists: immersion. Researching as Givechi, et al. Of IDEO suggest entails gathering visual data but also conceptual data. Consequently, the end result is more relevant to the needs of the end-user.
