Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter to request a withdrawal for one semester. During my time at Simon Fraser University, I faced significant financial hardships and familial difficulties. At the time, I lived alone with my sister in Canada, who was in high school at the time. As my sister's main means of support, I had to work two part time jobs in order to ensure that we had food on the table and a roof over our heads. In addition to these difficult demands, I faced the challenges of attending university.
