As previously detailed above, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital manages to put eighty-one cents of every dollar raised by ALSAC to direct use in treating patients at the hospital and researching new treatments (SJCRH 2010). This makes the organization one of the most successful and efficient both as a charity and in the hospital/medical research field. Volunteer efforts help to minimize costs, and streamlined administration with a clear dedication to the true and full mission of the hospital contribute to the hospital's efficiency.
