The article is put into action due to the fact the military was treated with disrespect. Furthermore, if any military violates Article 92, which states the following will face being court martial for their punishment.

1) violates or fails to obey any lawful general order or regulation;

2) having knowledge of any other lawful order issued by any member of the armed forces, which it is his duty to obey, fails to obey the order; or 3) is derelict in the performance of his duties

Conclusion

The Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) is a federal law, enacted by Congress which can be followed under Articles 91 and 92. This is because they both clearly state that any military person who does not follow the military law or knows anyone who is not will be punished through military law. With that, the Uniform Code of Military Justice is an order that contains detailed instructions for implementing military law for the United States Armed Forces (UCMJ).
