Lee Scott, the CEO of the company, reacts several times during the film in such corporate PR double-speak that he is difficult to be taken seriously. His comments are in direct opposition to many facts of the Wal-Mart investigation - so much so that he seems like a totally clueless leader or a consummate liar. The facts do not lie in this case, and the director has left them for the world to see. Wal-Mart is a deceptive, deceitful, and exploitive employer, and they get away with it because Americans do not care. It is a very sad statement about business and the state of our country.
