Wild Horse Saloon for the purpose of exploring hospitality management skills. The writer spent time at the dance club and read some published articles about the venue to be able to present this information in the paper. There were three sources used to complete this paper.

The Wild Horse Saloon is known worldwide for its country western performers as well as the ambiance it provides for its patrons. The Wild Horse Saloon is a venue that is used for many thing including television shows, talent contests, and nightly dance sessions. For the purpose of evaluating hospitality management skills the Wild Horse Saloon is an excellent venue to compare to well-known skills.

The Wild Horse Saloon provides the world with music. It has many functions, not the least of which is a currently ongoing talent show that rivals American Idol. In addition there are televisions shows filmed there and the performances of country music artists being broadcast from its stage. While all of these things make the Wild Horse Saloon popular and famous there is an entire aspect of the venue that is not shared on television. The Wild Horse Saloon is a local music club for residents of the surrounding Nashville area as well as tourists who are staying in nearby hotels.

It is the everyday life of the club that makes it what it is in the camera's eye.

The club has launched its venue and the desirable dance floor with an old show called Club Dance. The Club Dance show featured dancers which were broadcast worldwide and consisted not only of paid performers but local residents who wanted to be there (When, 1994).

The club was successful since its beginning and continues to be so because of the ambiance it provides. The Wild Horse Saloon provides some of the largest incomes to the city's downtown club tax revenue. When one enters the club one is treated to an experience that they won't soon forget (Eff, 1996).

One of the best parts of the club is its two story setting. Those who want to get away from the hardwood dance floor, the crowd and the stage can go upstairs to the open second floor bar. The bar has huge ceramic horses sitting at it and one can also choose to sit at the ledge overhanging the dance floor and watch the dancers below.
