I think I need to clarify I'm still married. I feel that in a marriage there ought to be a sexual relationship but in the last four years, I have been unable to give that and nor do I desire resuming it with my husband.

Other problems noted in Worrell's work include the presence of sexual behavior problems.

The effects of childhood sexual abuse are clearly of the nature that continue to effect these women on their lifespan however, for women who do seek and obtain assistance in the form of counseling and other psychological treatment, the impacts can be minimized and the chance for healing to occur does exist......
