Conclusion

In closing after assessing the damages associated with this spill, it is safe to assume the accident was costly to the organization. It just goes to show how one moment in time can change the course of events for the people involved. Not only is it expensive but also it takes up a lot of time and energy to right the situation. Even with the element of damage control, it is still really difficult for an organization avoid costs like legal representation and other fees the government applies to such accidents. The government does this to recoup costs they incur because of the accident. These fees in turn are applied to public services that aid in learning from such accidents. An organization cannot avoid this kind of trouble but only remedy the situation with monetary compensation. It is not only finances that are lost but clearing up such ramifications can takes months to remedy and this time taken can serve as a lesson for management.
