Many organizations use the job descriptions in the formulation of the rating forms to be used in the appraisal process. This is a significant step and important approach for the employee since it creates the point of reference that is familiar with the employee. The employee is reminded of the responsibilities that he should have fulfilled in the previous period after the last appraisal.
