Even if they survive, people could still die. This disease was heavily infectious with children, similar to chicken pox. In Kingston, New Hampshire, 33% of the children died from this disease. Many puritan ministers believe that they brought the disease by straying too far from the biblical path. After 1735, outbreaks appear every 25 years. By the mid-1800s it become much more prominent.
