Even from just the presentation of their definitions, one can begin to sense the connection between being more than the sum of parts to synergy. My design point-of-view comes from a place where these quotations collide and are illustrated in the real world.

Both of my parents were missionaries. Very early on in life, my parents set an example for me follow and I have tried to do so in my life. They taught me that even one person's efforts can effect the lives of others. I have also learned that small efforts can have big effects.
