Journal Entry 2During my recent experiences in women\'s reproductive health, I had to deal with three patient cases that I think have impacted my professional growth.The first was a 33-week pregnant woman experiencing her first pregnancy who developed preeclampsia. With this patient, we had to deal with the issues of managing the sudden onset of high blood pressure and the possibility for organ damage (Judy et al., 2019). From this, I realized the importance of early detection and properly effective but also fast management. We had a good team of obstetricians, midwives, and nurses to work with, and our approach was guided by the ACOG guidelines. All the same, I felt that this experience sharpened my skills in patient counseling, especially in a high-risk situation like this. If faced with a similar situation in the future, I would advocate for even more frequent monitoring for such high-risk patients.The second challenging case was a 33-week pregnant woman diagnosed with herpes type 2. The primary concern here was ensuring the neonate was not exposed to the virus during delivery.
