Parents and Their Children's Education

Giving a child education is the most precious gift a parent can offer to their child. Paying for school fees is not the only role that a parent has to play when it come to her child's education. Parents should be involved in their children education more than just financially. However some parents fail to get involved in their children's education due to some factors. The paper will look at some of these factors that have been cited as barriers to parents' involvement in their children's education.

Most parents want to get involved with their child's school life. Most parents have some life demands that act as barriers to their involvement in their child's education.one of these factors is time; most of the parents have other commitments part from their child's schooling.one of these commitments is work. Work is the overall commitment and excuses that most of the parents use for not being able to get involved in their child's education. Some parents have to work long hours and other even have two jobs and thus lack any spare time to help their children with any school related matter.
