Personal Assessment

The author of this report has been asked to do a review and summary of a personal assessment that was completed. The assessment has three major sections, those including learning style, stress handling and a general assessment of relating to humans. Indeed, the ways in which people develop reactions and behaviors around these things shapes their personality, their experiences and how they move about through life. While there is no single "right way" to answer these questions, the author of this response feels that there are some methods and ways of approaching things that are better than others.

When it comes to learning style, there are two major choices. One choice is to watch and listen and the other is to get involve and participate. As with most things, neither answer could or should be used in all situations. There are times where a concept is new and completely foreign. This is very much true and an inherent problem and challenge with that is that presumptions and assumptions are often somewhat or completely wrong. So much of what we "know" is often just supposition or based on incomplete data. For example, if a person is quiet by nature, it could mean they are shy but that is far from being the only explanation. The other questions in that section were pretty straight-forward and easy to understand in terms of their implications. Finally, there was the stress personality type section. The author does see some negative things. Doing more than one thing at once is….....
