fulfil two primary aims; first, it aims to present the methodology that will be employed to collect the data and structure the study; and second, it will also justify the choices of the chosen methods. The sub-categories thus tackled in this section include: listing the research question that identifies one experimental design method; justification of choice of non-experimental design; describe the methods to be used to conduct experiment (Research Approach, Research type and Time line, Data Collection Methods, The Interviews Process, Sampling Strategy and Data Analysis)

The reason that this section is divided in the aforementioned categories is so that the researcher can accurately present all the concerns and challenges that surface and tackle them accordingly so that the study can prove to be realistic, viable and possible to practically carry out. Also, the division helps in converting the aims of the research into different logical and investigative areas for discussion.

Section A: Research question that identifies one experimental design method

The research question chosen for this study is as follows:

What individual treatment modes have been found to be effective (best practices, evidence-based) for treating this population?

Section B: Justify choice of non-experimental design

It was described by Bouma (2002) that a qualitative research is the one in which the characteristics as well as the beliefs, norms and traditions of a society can be comprehended. In this paper a qualitative research has been chosen as well and because of the fact that is qualitative it is obvious that it us non-experimental. According to a study conducted by Saunders et al. (2003) the advantage of using a qualitative research is that it enables the research to suppose some formal or informal links among various factors and it can also help the researchers in understanding the judgments of the sample, preferences and outlooks (Saunders et al., 2003).

Furthermore, the advantage of using the qualitative research is that it enables the researcher to understand in a better way the behavior of the sample/respondents as well as understand various other key factors since, he/she is in such close contact with the environment (Bouma, 2002).

Section C: Describe methods to be used to conduct experiment

Research Approach

Trochim (2006) has proposed two basic approaches towards the investigative logic, and these are:

1. Inductive reasoning.

2. Deductive reasoning.

The inductive reasoning basically starts in such a way that initially you have widespread goals in your mind and then you make them into more widespread and generalized practices or notions. The inductive reasoning is also known as the "bottom-up" tactic.

The deductive reasoning is when you start with general ideas and then you make them into the specific goals and practices. The deductive reasoning is also known as the "top-down" tactic.

However, in this paper the inductive reasoning has been used by the researcher to achieve the goal for which this study is being conducted.

Research type and Time line

The format of a study is what its timeline is related to and usually there are two main formats of a research study, which are:

1. Longitudinal study.

2. Cross-sectional study.

In case of the longitudinal study there is a wider spectrum of time on which the research is focused which means that there are going to be a lot of changes and variables involved and a lot of changes are going to occur over time and all these changes and variables have to be kept in mind while making the decision (Trochim, 2006).

In case of the cross-sectional format there is just a single time frame on which the complete study is focused upon such….....
