It describes in details the activities that they engaged in and gives a graphical feel of every little step that they made while they were together. It depicts the physical reaction of the persona when they met and the feelings and thoughts that ran through their minds.

The poem opens up with a straight forward and open line that tells of the persona's loneliness and nostalgia at the thought of the person that he love, who was not around at the moment. "The truth is I loved it" is the very first line of the poem, this indicates a past activity of being together (as seen in the later sections) and the reader immediately gets the sense of the persona in need of the company of the partner, but to no avail.
