Securing an Internship

Simply put, an internship is essentially an undertaking similar to apprenticeship which apart from targeting university as well as college students is designed in a way that enables such students to develop hands-on skills or on-the-job training relevant to their chosen career fields. For many, the relevance of internships cannot be overstated especially when it comes to the acquisition of the necessary experience to reinforce what has already been learnt in the class setting.

The Process of Securing Internship in Communication Major

There are a series of steps that precede the securing of an internship. To begin with, one may need to keep in mind that to secure an internship, there exists a number of minimum requirements to be fulfilled. These include but are not in any way limited to a minimum of 3.0 GPA coupled with a minimum of 97 credits. In addition to this, a student seeking the said internship must have a recommendation from his or her professors regarding his abilities, conduct as well as any other relevant information.
