This course provided me with the opportunity to gain a more complex understanding about a typical product and the path it takes from the moment when it is created to the moment when it reaches a consumer. A supply chain organization can be much more intricate than some people might be inclined to think.

The first important step in a supply chain organization would involve individuals making sure that the product's manufacturing is in accordance with a series of regulations that it is going to have to respect. These respective regulations can vary from political regulations to biological regulations, as the product needs to have a minimal impact on the environment. Through taking on such attitudes, producers make sure they maximize their profits and that they are very likely to experience little to no problems with the supply chain organization.

A supply chain organization primarily needs to relate to costs and on trying to reduce them as much as possible even in situations when the overall business is expanding. Numerous companies that are focused on growth might tend to ignore the significance of reducing costs and they thus lose a great deal of finances as they grow. Leverage is thus one of the most important elements in supply chain organization.


In order for the structure of the organization to work as effectively as possible, communication needs to be addressed from the early stages of the project. This would make it possible for all bodies involved to acknowledge each-other's importance and to cooperate with each-other in ways that make the overall project as profitable as possible to all sides. By being acquainted with each-other's position on particular matters, various individuals who take part in the process can be more likely to successfully complete their task and even to help others.

Innovation is also an important element in supply chain organization, as this is a constant process and can improve the overall project at any time. By focusing on ways in which they can improve the project and can thus make particular tasks more efficient, individuals involved can play an active role in improving the structure of the project and can eventually reform many of the actions previously benefiting it in order to implement other, more efficient, actions.….....
