Project Plan and ImplementationAs an educator participating in the study abroad program in Latin America, I am excited to develop a curriculum project that will bring the rich cultural and historical experiences of the region into my art education classroom.To begin, I plan to incorporate innovative ways to evaluate students' global competence, critical thinking skills, and tangible learning outcomes. One approach I will take is to use formative and summative assessments that are aligned with curriculum standards, such as creating rubrics that measure students' progress in understanding and applying cultural concepts and perspectives. In terms of the implementation of the curriculum project, I plan to integrate the themes and content from my study abroad experience into my existing art education curriculum.Overall, I believe that by incorporating the rich cultural and historical experiences of Latin America into my art education classroom, I will be able to enhance the global competence and critical thinking skills of my students, and contribute to their understanding and appreciation of diverse perspectives and cultures. Students will learn about the different regions and countries in Latin America, their art forms and traditions, and the people who live there.
