As it is mentioned above that the all the drawbacks of technology are not negligible and many people are now fully aware that how techn ology is harming the society as well as the environement in which we all survive. but, in spite of being aware about this fact, a number of organizations, nations and individuals are using technology in every moment of their life. The reason behind is that people are only thinking of their personal motives and well-being . They completely ignore the benefit of environment in this regard. Almost ninety five percent of the society is so much involved in using technology that they cannot even think of surviving without it (McKibben, pg. 128).

Many wide known organizations around the globe use technology for vast production and distribution. They harm the enironment and only care about generating maximum profits through maximum production and selling. The smoke of the industries and other types of wastes released from the industries into seas and rivers is extremely harmful for the enviroment. This release of wastage in to the seas is also the raeson of the incraesed death rates of marine life. Marine life is an important asset of any country but unfortunetely the selfish motives of individuals and organizations are harming it.

In addition to this, the use of technology by individuals and organizations is also proving to be a valid reason for the scarcity of energy in the country.

It is because the use of technology requires a lot of consumption of energy . If it is not consumed in this way, this energy can be used in many prouctive ways which will benefit the whole society. If organizations and individuals use technology in a way that do not harm the environment, the side effects of using technology can be avoided at an agreater extent. Apart from this fact, if the use of technology is avoided in such circumstances where abundant energy is used, another drawback of using the technology can be avoided. In addition to this, eco-friendly technological instruments can be used for the bettterment of the environment . According to Kevin, if technology is used after analysis of its affects for the environemnt, it is likely that its drawbacks can be reduced. Using hybrid cars for transportation in place of the tradition cars will save fuel. Beside this, Blaylock suggested that using online documentation rather than paper documentation will save paper which in turn will save trees in the environement and this will stop global warming.

Technology is therefore an important part of our lives and more developments in the technology will occur in future. If it is used by keeping the benefits of environment, the use of technology be appreciated.
