Summary of the Findings and their Implications

Clearly, the Baby Boomers are creating a seismic shift in the way various health care services will be delivered in the future. This is because they account for such a large segment of the population. At the same time, the services that they demand and the number of health conditions that are affecting this group (i.e. diabetes / heart disease) underscores how they will require more health care services.
