Thus the concentration is not on basketball, the sport he is supposed to love, but on sex. The picture in the book is clear about the happenings when the over-sexed teenagers reach college. This is the view given of women - they are without life and so when you abuse women, you have not done anything wrong as she is an object and without feelings.
